It’s just what they expect everyone would think is a great comment since they themselves probably never enjoyed/experienced the game - thinking it may be silly. They may or may not believe the comment that they posted to be true, in fact they’re more than likely indifferent on the game altogether. They just felt the need to contribute something possibly riveting to get a reaction one way or another.
Yeah, it’s attention seeking, really. It’s not hard to feel a bit sorry for them.
Oh let me be perfectly clear: I give precisely zero fucks what anyone’s hot takes on my opinions are. Never take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from. Pay attention to me or don’t. Makes no difference.
