That’s like when I watched the Titanic, what sort of “unsinkable” ship is sunk by an iceberg? Really low effort writing, smh.

Oh yeah, just like when Apollo 13 had an accident since that one has the unlucky number.

(Though Apollo 1 was the really unlucky one)

There may also be the possibility that the other person in the theater was making a joke. So, as a charitable person, were I in that situation, I would smile at the joke.

Of course, internally, I would make the more likely assumption that the person is an uneducated jackass. After all, he already spoke rather loudly during a movie at the theater, so I already know he’s a jackass.

But since I am a charitable person, none of those thoughts would be outwardly expressed, and for all appearances, I would be smiling at a joke.

I would hope it wasn’t called that until that injury.

Like, throw some foreshadowing into the movie. Have a Greek medical student learning anatomy and have the prof say “And this, above the heel, is the ‘short tendon’, yes, it’s terribly named because it goes all the way up to the calf, but we didn’t understand anatomy well when we first named it. We should probably come up with a new name for it.”
