  • I mean i’m currently in a learning process with Linux, i would like to be a power user like in windows, but i’m just not yet. I don’t know if i would say disappointed, but i tried to use KDE first and would say my experience was rather bad, it was a bit buggy here and there and i didn’t found out how to fix my problems. I’m surprised by it because i though i would like KDE for sure more, but i’m happy i switched to Gnome. So as the op said, part of the experience is choosing the right distro or in my case desktop enviroment is part of the experience.

Sure had few driver issues, or installing japanese was a bit of a struggle, but i have fun solving problems.

  • First party games are Physical, but most third party are not. Game key cards are not physical for me. I play a few nintendo games, but i play far more games from different publisher, not really one company that has a majority. So this doesn’t really matter much for me. Switch 2 started for me the dead of physical games, not as drastic as sony, but it was the beginning. I read a lot people say nintendo ist the only one left, well maybe kind of, but i really don’t care much about this only one left. I will buy Fire emblem games physical as long as Nintendo support it and ocationally another game, so maybe 1-2 games a year from maybe 15 i buy over a year. So i don’t see much of this home.

  • First of all, i think the performance is alright. The critic about that was probably a bit to much, sure there are loading times, but nothing horrible.

Ok now about the actual game, it feels like 2D Zelda, i expected a bit more rpg mechanics, so far i doubt it’s even an rpg, but it really is like a 2D zelda. I’m not that far in, but having sword, boomerang and other weapons. Able to throw tall gras and pods, having life points like hearts, having something like heart pieces. I knew people compared it to zelda, but it’s way more Zelda coded that i have expected. But on the other hand it lacks deph a zelda game has. If i’m in a bit city for example minish cap, there are so much secret to find, finding secret in wells, have here and there exciting npcs, there was nothing like that, so far, in The adeventure of Eliott. Probably a more action combat focused game, but i will see with further dungeons and secrets i see. Just an early impression.

But i enjoy it so far, it’s a decent game at least will tell more when i played more.
