  • Perhaps it’s more complex than a single reason but I believe all scenarios would most likely fall into the bucket of “things were that easy for them and they lack the critical thought to realize that it’s not that easy for everyone else”.

Boomers were buying houses and cars with only one person working, retiring at a decent age and living on mostly social security.

Generational wealth has ensured that their offspring would never have to struggle.

Some settled into a job that truly does pay for all their necessities.

    etc., ad nauseum.

Basically, it’s a throwaway statement and I don’t think anyone should lose any sleep feeling like they need to further discuss it with them or defend themselves. They are clearly incapable of stepping outside of their knee-jerk assumptions to find out if they’re accurate or not.

  • I don’t want to provide false hope but we had two cats in the past that had the same issue and both times, their recovery followed what you’re describing. It took some time for the passing of urine to look free of obstruction(not a dribble) and of a sufficient amount and they both recovered fully.

Stay vigilant with keeping multiple clean sources of water around(sometimes the cats like moving water, so a fountain-type water feeder that you can buy at a pet store or online). Stick with the medicine and I would bet my money on your kitteh making a full recovery.
