Jesus H the gaming industry sucks so much ass right now. Not everything needs to be live service and multiplayer. Games like Clair Obscur and Baldur’s Gate 3, along with the hype for the now cancelled Mass Effect show there’s still plenty of demand for single player, story driven games. I don’t understand how companies are so out of touch that they pump out sloppy live service shit no one wants or asks for and then scratch their heads wondering why it fails. Good lord everything EA touches turns to shit. Mass Effect is one of my all time favorite series and I credit it with breaking me out of just playing JRPGs. I was really looking forward to the next entry in the series, but the trilogy (there is no Andromeda in Ba Sing Se) will always be in my top games of all time and has enough of a conclusion to leave me satisfied
