What are you saying? Why would other people get quiet about what’s bothering them because you have to repair your car? Why is that everybody else’s problem? You are aware that you could slow down at night to avoid hitting wildlife, right? Blinding other innocent people at night is not “being proactive”, and it’s in no way morally comparable to ad blockers. The people being subjected to this aren’t trying to harvest your data to make money on you.

In what world is this the case? Boerboel, Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Filha Brasilero, these are all 50+ kg dogs that are in no way docile. And there are plenty of smaller breeds that are docile. I think the main reason is that, as an owner of a large breed, you have to train your dog to some extent, or it will seriously hurt someone. Smaller breed owners often seem content with just picking up their dog in their arms when they get aggressive, or just laughing it away by calling it feisty or a diva or some other nonsense. Being an irresponsible small dog owner simply doesn’t come with the same down sides as being an irresponsible muscle dog owner.

If anything, Russia is using the long established playbook belonging to the US.

Colonial mindset is strong in this comment. Africans are poor (wonder why?), and kept poor by western elites. Kept in a condition where they have to prioritize eating before conservation. So the same elites who keep them poor, need to come in and give the people a “reason to care about preserving their natural environments”, not by helping the society, but by killing big game for money so they can pose with their trophies.

Also, big game hunters are not bloodthirsty killers, they pay millions to kill animals not for bragging rights, but to help conservation. Just ask Don Jr. They even do a lot to minimize the suffering of the animal, out of the goodness of their hearts apparently, and not because that’s a basic rule of hunting that you have to follow if you wanna keep hunting. Those dumb Africans need sensible hunters to teach them about conservation, don’t you know?

Antifa is, as far as I know, the US abbreviation for Anti Fascist Action. This was an organization founded in the eighties in the UK with decentralized local chapters with the ability to mobilize. They were out in the streets violently confronting the fascists. It died out in the late nineties

Copy cat groupings had started appearing in other European countries by that time. In Sweden, we called them AFA. The antifa logo I’ve seen in US media is the logo of Anti Fascist Action. But that’s just my understanding.
